My name is Ann, I am a proud first-time mum to a handsome little boy, Mateo Kahlil (ohh blush!). I was born and raised in Australia, have Egyptian heritage, and married to a Swiss - that makes Mateo quasi-Ozzie-Swiss-Egyptian - confused!?!
We recently relocated to Beirut in May 2012, and have no idea about how to navigate Beirut City with a nine-month old in tow -unpractical it seems. So, I thought it fitting to share my personal experiences and open the blog to all mums who are just as baby challenged or can help us remember all the exciting reasons of living abroad.
This blog is an opportunity to create a supportive hub for new and established expat mums, to share stories, make new friends, and at the very least, try to work out what people do with children in Beirut.
